I have always loved sultry make-up looks and I go crazy when it comes to the bronze tone. This season, metallic is in the trend and so I wanted to create a simple bronze toned make up look with some basic products.
‘Bronze is the new Gold’ – I hear this pretty often these days. Though gold will always have a special place, I can’t deny the entry of the magnificent bronze goddess look this season.
I have a clear skin (**blessed 🙂 ) that tends to be normal to dry and so I swear by applying a little moisturizer before anything. I do not use heavy base though I would love to try all the good foundations available in the market. I have used a little Johnson Baby cream as a base before applying Lakme CC cream in Bronze. Yes, it is my go to product. Though people do not believe but I currently do not use foundations. 😀 Used Faces GlamOn Prime Perfect pressed powder (Natural 02) to set the base by gently applying with the help of provided applicator. A minimum application is recommended so that the fresh look is on and it does not look cakey.
For the eyes, I used the Flawless palette from Makeup Revolution London. Applied shadow number 20 Copper Shimmer both on the upper and lower lid. This color so justifies the look I wanted to create. Completed it with mascara using ‘The Falsies push up drama’ by Maybelline New York. I have always loved Maybelline Mascaras for the length and volume they give.
For my ‘big’ (literally) cheeks, I have used the Sun-kissed bronzer from Lakme Absolute (Limited Edition by Sabyasachi) as a blush and looked just awesome. I have doubts about the staying power of this bronzer though but I will review it soon.
Now the most exciting part, lip colors 😀 I have used 2 colors here, both from Colorbar. Why two? Because I wanted to see which one looks better? Then ended up putting both of the pictures as I loved both. Ting!! You can see how it looks under different lighting and angle.
1. Coco Cuddle – Crème Touch Range
2. 004 Drizzle – Feel the Rain Matte Lipsticks
Highlights – Used the Shadow 02 Soft Glow from the Flawless Eye Shadow palette as a highlighter on the nose, cheeks and on the Cud’s bow.
This look is perfect for the day and is very easy to create with these simple products.
